Nuts and bridge saddles in bone and brass
The plastic nuts and bridge saddles fitted to production guitars often damp string vibration, cause strings to bind in the nut slots (which leads to tuning problems) and can result in uneven response between individual strings, including in piezo systems on electro-acoustics. At Pracownia Gitar we make nuts and bridge saddles by hand from natural bone and from brass. Every part is individually cut, shaped and polished for the particular instrument and string gauge. The result? A clear improvement in sustain, a more refined tone and an end to problems with tuning and intonation up the neck.
What the service includes:
- Cutting and shaping nuts
- Bridge saddles for acoustic and classical guitars
- Compensation for the scale length
