String change and maintenance
This is far more than changing the wires at home.
This service is a genuine spa treatment for your instrument. We start by thoroughly cleaning the fretboard of accumulated sweat and dirt, which prevents the wood from degrading. The frets are then polished to a shine, which dramatically improves the smoothness of bending and extends their life. We protect and condition the fretboard with dedicated oils of our own making. Lacquered surfaces are cleaned carefully and then protected with our own wax, Lutniczy Specjal. The product brings out the original character of the finish beautifully, adding depth to glossy instruments and refreshing the noble texture of matt lacquers while protecting them from unwanted shine. Finally we fit new strings, stretch them properly and correct the neck relief to its optimal value.
